VSIP Hai Phong Industrial Park Wastewater Treatment Plant with a capacity of 4,500 m3/day, built synchronously and applying modern technology, is one of the important highlights contributing to VSIP Hai Phong being recognized as a “green industrial park”.

VSIP Hai Phong Urban and Industrial Park Project has a total area of 1,567 hectares. In which, there are 507 hectares of land for industrial parks and 1,058 hectares of urban construction land. This project is located on a prime location, easily connecting to the city center and other key infrastructures such as Cat Bi International Airport, Hoang Van Thu Bridge, Binh Bridge, the new administrative center of the city.

The Wastewater treatment system with a capacity of 4,500m3/day and night of VSIP Hai Phong Industrial Park has Ecoba Environmental Technology Co., Ltd (Ecoba ENT) as the main contractor. This is a complex system for wastewater treatment for both industrial parks and urban complexes, which is fully automated by Ecoba ENT, and meets QCVN 40:2011/BTNMT standards. industrial wastewater.

Wastewater treatment is carried out according to a closed process, including: Preliminary treatment to remove garbage and sand in wastewater, adjusting the concentration of pollutants. Next, physico-chemical treatment is done through the coagulation tank, the flocculation tank, the primary settling tank to create a precipitate, causing the pollutants to settle. After that, biological treatment of wastewater is put through anoxic treatment tanks; agressive; secondary settling tank for industrial wastewater treatment… Finally, disinfection and discharge. With such a closed process, the wastewater of the whole industrial park is completely treated before being discharged to the receiving source, helping to protect the water and air environment of the industrial park as well as the surrounding area.

Besides investing in a modern wastewater treatment system, VSIP Hai Phong also invests in 200 hectares of trees and 3 parks (Central Park, Wetland Park, Lake Gardens) of the urban area with an area of ​​6 hectares, all forming a “green lung” to bring workers and investors a clean, pollution-free and clean working environment.

With becoming a green industrial park, VSIP Hai Phong has been a bright spot to attract foreign investors who are looking for a safe, friendly and efficient investment environment.

In which, 39 FDI enterprises have completed the construction of factories and are in operation. The occupancy rate of the Industrial Park component is 72%. Most of VSIP Hai Phong’s customers focus on investors with high, modern and clean technology such as: Kyocera Vietnam office machine technology Co., Ltd., Fuji Xerox Hai Phong Co., Ltd., Electric Co., Ltd. As a result, VSIP Hai Phong has created jobs for nearly 58,000 workers, 55% of whom are from Thuy Nguyen district.
