Always interested in improving the skills and knowledge of the company’s engineers, the experts of Ecoba ENT recently led an internal training program on the process of maintenance and operation at the wastewater treatment plants.

The internal training session includes crucial notes during maintenance and operation, and experienced experts including Mr Gia Long Le and Mr Phi Long Nguyen from the Operation and Maintenance department of Ecoba ENT share special requirements

Besides the projects Ecoba ENT receives as the general contractor from design to construction and technology transfer, Ecoba ENT is also particularly trusted by investors to deliver operation and maintenance projects. Always remember that each project is the passion and effort of ENT’s people, so all of the engineers and employees always cultivate knowledge and skills to achieve the highest efficiency in their work.

During the training session, Mr Le Gia Long, an expert with more than 40 years of experience in the environment field, raised issues that needed attention in the process of equipment warranty and machinery operation at wastewater treatment plants

Mr Long specifically divided garbage separators into the basic types of machines such as screen separators, chain drives, screws, rotary drums, and so on, and informed the technical staff about the structure and operating mechanisms to avoid machine error during operation.

Mr Long grouped equipment into different groups to make it easier for technicians to classify and identify machine characteristics and the advantages and disadvantages of each machine line.

With the air blower lines, Mr Long mentioned the ROOT, TUBO, SCALP, and ROTARY types of air blowers, which are four popular models in the market and are required by many investors to install in their wastewater treatment plant projects. Mr Long pays special attention to electrical test engineers, including voltage, resistance, current, insulation resistance, as well as electrical resistance, such as paying attention to abnormal machine noise and vibration (if any). The ROOT type air blower is the most common and frequently used machine. With scalloped, tubular, or rotary models, attention should be paid to cleaning the air filter and one-way valve.

Mr Le Gia Long has crucial notice during the maintenance process

Following the sharing of expert Mr Gia Long Le, Mr Phi Long Nguyen, head of the O&M department, also shared and answered about the operation steps at the factory. Checking the machine system according to the process and based on the advantages of machine characteristics as shared by expert Le Gia Long above will help technicians save time and reduce costs in the process of operation and control of the entire system at the same time.

The internal training session took place in an open atmosphere. Technicians shared the cases they had met at wastewater treatment plants for everyone to discuss and come up with the best solution.

The engineers and employees have shared experiences together

Internal training at Ecoba ENT is a regular activity organized by departments to improve the professional capacity of the company’s staff.
